Kaito Guild

The largest of these was founded by a young man called Kaito, over fifty followed him and he constructed the closest any of them had to a society. He tried to reason with other gangs and for this he and his own were respected, but aware of what had become of the people Kaito made sure to build defences, keeping his corner of the city safe from attacks of jealous gangs. He organised hunting parties, managed to grow a crop of pinberry fruit, and found a source of clean running water. Despite his achievements he became convinced that life still existed past their city, and eventually his dream turned into an obsession. Finally in the year 2024 he organised a group of five eager young men and three women and took them on a crusade to search for other life, a better life for his people.
The Kaito Guild take in most people, in fact Keita is always looking for new members. He realises how unsafe it is for the Guildless. People in this Guild tend to be more gentle and educated... both Kaito and his younger brother Keita ae firm believers in education and encourages teachers.


Spartan / MisPis Guild

Second most powerful guild within Orion, they concentrate more on strength than numbers. Choosing only the strongest to be within their walls and casting out the weak. Members of this guild tend to me more violent and forceful in their search for food and survival. They wish to join with the Kaito guild, recognising their strong defences. People within this guild tend to be strong rather than smart and most are trainted fighters. On occassion they're known for hiring out their fighters to other Guilds in exchange for food or other valuebles.

Oritens
A special police force of Orion, which keeps the peace between sparring guilds and gangs. People give them the nick-name of 'cops'. The Commander leads the organisation, yet their identity is unknown to all outside of the Oritens. Underneath him are several chiefs, who go between guilds to oversee negotiations, and then squads of officers and constables who patrol the streets of the main city and its borders.

Salesh Guild

The Moralla Guild a small shanty village built on stilts located not far off shore from the Old Harbor. Accessible only by boat, the guild is famed for its skilled fishermen, producing much of the seafood consumed on the island.
Despite being most well-known for their fishing, the Guild also specialises in salvage. By scavenging old materials and items from the choked ocean bed, they put both their traditional and industrial skills to work, modifying, reconditioning and often re-building from scratch. Those with enough money and contacts may find just what they’re looking for in this Guild.
Indeed, only a handful of the most informed islanders would know of the guilds dabblings in producing weapons, a dirty secret that the guild has kept amongst its older members. The younger Morallas’ may be blissfully unaware of the shady dealings as they are now, but with the recent uprisings and murmurs of discontent amongst the other guilds, they may begin to wonder just where the Guilds high income is coming from.
